Gooood morning friends!

So far, mine has been super great!

But let’s finish up yesterday..It was a crazy evening(I’ll explain why in a bit)!

I didn’t have a car for the day so after work, my father-in-law and I drove home and I walked out to see my mother-in-law enjoying the evening breeze, it actually felt nice and bearable! I decided to sit out with her and honestly didn’t leave the poolside until we left that night!

I think Leo enjoyed it..and yes, for some reason I cross my toes like that sometimes, it’s a weird habit. ;)

Most of these pictures are from my iPhone, I really didn’t want to go inside! Not that I’ve ever not been an “outside” person, but it’s coming out more and more. I just LOVE to be outside now!

Moving along..

It’s Amanda(my brother-in-law’s wife) birthday today ( HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA!! ) and she drove up from West Palm beach for work and requested wings, so wings we ate!

We get them naked(not battered) and I get mine plain with some buffalo sauce on the side. I don’t like dousing it in sauce, I like just enough in each bite!

I also sipped a beer..

Oh and of course..birthday cake!! If you live in the Southeast region and have Publix near you, try their chocolate cake. It’s beyond words, good. No joke.

Right before we ate..something big happened..

I got my very first car!!!!!!!

You see, I’ve been driving “hand me downs”(which never bothered me, I was lucky) since I got my license. This is my very first car that’s all mine! It was a tough decision that we had to make quick. I am the spender not the saver in my marriage but when it comes to big purchases, I take a while and question a lot so this was big. The second we decided to get it, Adam jumped out of his chair and went to the dealership. About two hours later, he pulled up in my car! It’s a 2004 Pontiac Vibe. :)

The next pictures were taken on a regular camera.

It’s actually a deep red, my P&S didn’t do it justice. :)

Thanks to the amazing people at Starling Chevrolet, they were wonderful! Adam’s family has been buying from them for a long time, and they’re super trustworthy and were really great!

I’m really excited about it and glad that this huge decision is over and we can finally cross this BIG “to-do” off of the list. I’ll be taking the car on some adventures this next week and a big test will be if my bike can fit in the back! It folds flat down which will be huge for that. I’m excited to play around with it and figure out what it can do.

I thought I had a name, but I’m not sold on it. I used to name more things I owned(my guitar is Layla) but I stopped naming things. However, I still name my cars. It’s more fun to refer to them by name. :) I’ll keep working on it.

This morning, I decided to take the time for an awesome and substantial breakfast..

I scrambled up 2 eggs & 1 egg white and scrambled. Microwaved up some turkey bacon(to make it super crispy), two Van’s waffles with some smart balance, coconut oil and agave and a side of frozen grapes!

It was super filling and a great mix of protein & carbs. I realized I’ve been depending on just carbs and minimal protein which causes me to feel sluggish in the afternoon so I tried getting a very substantial breakfast and I’m taking it for a test run. So far I feel GREAT! :) I’ll let you know how I feel this afternoon.

PheNOMenal. Nom nom nom.

I’m still munching on the frozen grapes..

Frozen grapes(if you like grapes) are like mini-popsicle drops. A really great, healthy snack especially in this amazingly HOT and humid weather! Both are good, but I like the green ones since they are a little more tart! :)

Okay, I’m off to seize the day including a lunch date with a good friend of mine, she was even one of my bridesmaids! See you all later!
